Created by Katherine Fugate and based on the book by Tanya Biank, Army Wives is filmed on location in and around scenic Charleston, SC.

In Season 1 when lead character Pamela Moran, played by Brigid Brannagh, appeared on Fort Marshall's radio station, she met Sgt. James the Radio Tech, played by Jim Gooden.

Since then, Jim Gooden has appeared in Seasons 1-4.
